I'm showing new work at The Observatory, a new bar that was opened by some really good friends of mine. If you're in the Portland area you should definitely go check it out, really good food and drinks. They don't have a website yet, but people have already started to write about them on Yelp, so you can check out what others have to say here. A lot of people on the SE side who don't live past 50th seem reluctant to check out any neighborhoods past SE 39th Ave, but 82nd really isn't that far at all. I live right on the river and if I hop on the 20 Burnside I'm there in twenty minutes. Make a total day of it, there's a really nice 2nd run theater call The Academy, a sweet little coffee shop called Bipartisan Cafe. Go. Go now!
